What to expect when the movers arrive?
Once the moving truck arrives and is in place, we greet our customers. From there, we begin the preparation process to protect the floors with floor runners, wrap the banisters and then the furniture. Any piece of furniture that we disassemble, we reassemble after the offload is complete. Each moving crew is equipped with all the tools necessary to complete the job.
Floor covering
Floor runners are placed down in high traffic areas throughout the house to prevent scratching or gouging of the floor. They are often used at the entryway and up the stairs and over carpeting to create a walkway
Pad wrapping furniture
Pad wrapping furniture serves many purposes. Not only does it protect the furniture itself, it also protects walls from damage. Last but not least, it gives the movers the ability to load the truck efficiently, from floor to ceiling by stacking while keeping the furniture safe in transit
Furniture disassembly and reassembly
Each crew is equipped with all the tools necessary to complete the move. only the furniture we disassemble, we reassemble after the offload. This also includes doors, handrails etc..
